Celebration time

How is it almost 2024?! Just getting this post out in the nick of time…

These are the looks for our imaginary New Year’s Eve celebrations - we will actually be in our pyjamas by 10pm - but for those of you who are seeing out 2023 in style, I hope that this provides some last minute inspiration!

The first thing that I want to talk about is the black top that I am wearing. If you have a dress that is similarly open and strappy but don’t want to be as skin baring as it requires, then this silk top is a perfect solution. It’s transparent enough to not be too heavy and dense, but thick enough to provide coverage.

The other thing that I want to mention is this fabulous fringed skirt by Hush. It is easy to overlook a skirt like this as one for the 20 year olds, or/and too much for most occasions other than New Year’s Eve. I would disagree. Worn with a jumper and flat shoes it looks much more low key, but still fun and cool. I would even pair it with trainers.

Lastly, look at mum’s tights! A pair of gems from Zara. Patterned tights are a brilliant way of breaking up an outfit, particularly an all black one.

That’s it from me for 2023, thank you again for all your support and we can’t wait to see you on the other side….!
