BEYOND NINE X GRAHAM ST.

For those of you that follow us on Instagram, you will have seen our collaboration with Beyond Nine. For those of you that don’t, I wanted to share it. I think that you will really like the direction in which the brand is taking their collection. Boiled wool jackets in earthy tones, slouchy heavy knits and quality denim in unusual colours. If, like us, you love a layer, you have come to the right place.
The shape of my trousers is fab. Wide legged and cut to sit on the ankle, the pleated front adds an unexpected elegance making them suitable to wear in the evening, as well as the daytime. I love gingham to add interest to an outfit in a subtle way. There is something so tasteful about the colour combination of this particular fabric. Especially paired with the dark grey, boiled wool jacket and walnut brown, merino knit.
Mum’s jeans are an unusual colour for denim but I think that they would be surprisingly versatile. There is something so cool about coloured, statement denim executed in the right way. Keeping the denim as the statement and pairing back the rest of the outfit works well; neutral tones with a pop of colour. Having said that, the harlequin jumper makes its own statement! The earthy palette keeps everything grounded.
The quality of Beyond Nine’s knitwear is fantastic. The knits are super heavy and generous in their proportions. The sleeves on my jumper are intentionally long so that they elegantly bunch on the arm. It looks very cool and I adore the vibe. I should note though, if you’re running around after babies and toddlers, you might find them a bit awkward. You could roll the sleeves having said that! Mum’s jumper is neat in fit. The snug waistband coupled with the looser body looks so chic. It’s such a gorgeous design - perfect for wearing with high-waisted jeans, trousers and A-line skirts.
My boiled wool jacket represents a ‘throw on and go’ jacket that I talk about quite a lot. The sort that elevates an outfit into something more put together. I adore the shape and fabric of this one. It hangs beautifully and boiled wool ages well.
I’ve had too many queries on instagram about this felt hat not to mention it here! It is from Zara! A structured hat can add an elegance to an outfit like nothing else and I believe that this one has done just that. I like the pairing of the hat and neckerchief in green - this would work with any hat and any scarf in the same colour.
The leopard print mesh top is FAB. I don’t always love leopard print, as not all leopard print is created equal. This top is subtle and is perfect for layering. As we move into the party season, it would be great for wearing under a cardigan or on its own tucked into high-waisted, black tailored trousers. The perfect ensemble for those of us that like to keep our ‘dressed up’ outfits low key. It’s not itchy too!
Sometimes it’s the small details that make the greatest difference. The pleat at the back of this coat that runs almost to the shoulder blades is a case in point. As you walk, the jacket billows out into a beautiful A-line silhouette. We also LOVE how long it is. C’est très chic!
