PLÜMO X GRAHAM ST.

A sunny yellow jumper is always a good idea for winter, on the days when it’s grey outside and you’d rather just stay indoors, reach for the cheery yellow jumper and I’m sure you’ll feel better….! It’s worth a try anyway. Plümo produce the Wicklow crewneck jumper in different colours every season. Made in Aberdeenshire in pure new wool, what the Scots don’t know about creating a warm jumper isn’t worth knowing!
A white t-shirt under a crew neck jumper is a youthful way to layer your tops in winter, arguably a cooler look than layering with a shirt or blouse. These are small details that can make a big difference to an outfit.
The plaid flannel trousers are a flattering shape. Both Mum and I commented on how nicely they hang. The front pleats are just far enough apart to be flattering at the front. The fabric drapes around the leg in a soft, elegant way. They are the perfect trouser for dressing up or down which is handy as we head into the festive season.
My cardigan has a double-layer button tab, creating the look of two cardigans worn together. We saw a lot of double knitwear on the AW26 catwalks and this cardigan does the hard work for you! At first mum was a little perplexed by it but as the day went on she really liked it. It’s so much more interesting than a standard grey cardigan.
With its raised, shawl collar, this shirt is another style that Plümo create a version of every season. It’s such a stylish, easy-to-wear shape. It works both tucked in and worn out. We love the checked version too.
The herringbone tweed coat is a timeless classic. I adore a herringbone tweed because it works with almost all fabrics and styles. It looks fantastic with a very simple monochromatic colour palette but it also pairs beautifully with completely contrasting patterns like florals. The A-line shape drapes elegantly over trousers, skirts and dresses. You could hide a couple of children under there too!
The striped, cotton trousers have a clever little button at the hem so that you can wear them more or less tapered. I have the button undone here for a more relaxed look but done up with a soft loafer or ballet flat would look great.
Purple is a colour de rigueur. I once had a purple school uniform so the colour hasn’t always set my heart alight but Plümo are here to change this for me….! I certainly think that the purple worn with the grey looks really cool. Maybe it’s when you throw in an itchy purple wool blazer that it all falls apart… ha!
